ITS A DOUBLE RAINBOW

I dont know if anyone has seen the youtube video of a guy freaking out over a double rainbow while he is video tapeing it but...... its pretty funny. Not much to report today I spent the day in Grants Pass at my tattooist's shop hanging out with him but other than that a pretty unevetful day. So here is my quick shot of the DOUBEL RAINBOW.

Welll I feel that I have reached a milestone with my project, 100 days of pictures down. This project has been so much fun for me to start it challenges me to push myslef to be creative and take the best pictures I can. I can only hope that the rest of this project will be as fun as the first 100 shoots. Thank you to everyone who has followed along with me on my journey thus far. Thanks for all the positve comments and suggestions, I greatly appreciate all of you.

Apperently my guitar case is a good place for a cat to catch some Z's. This is mike our mascot chilling out in his new bed, since I dont think I am ever going to be able to put my guitar back in there with out him wanting to shred me to pieces.

Gorge

Gorge

It's a bitter sweet feeling today, kat and I both had such a fun time with her family thats it's hard to say good bye, but it will be nice to get back to our own bed. It was a long drive back to the heat but we made it just fine. We made a quick detour to stop and take a few shots of the Gorge on the way back and let the dogs stretch thier legs. I walked over and snapped a few shots of one of the bridge's, I took one look over the 300 ft. cliff took my shots and retreated back to the safety of our car lol I am terrified of heights. So this isnt the best shot in the world but its the best I could do under the immnse amount of pressure I was under lol.

Kennewick Moon

Kennewick Moon

We pretty much hung out around the house today and relaxed, not much happened. So by night fall I was wondering what to do about a picture. Brad mentioned to me that the moon had a very eerie look to it tonight and it might be a cool picture, so I grabbed my gear and set up. I snapped a few shots before I got this one, but after I saw this picture I knew that this was the one. The rest of the night was filled with an intense game of poker, which kat won by the way. So here you go Kennewick Moon.

Back on the Ice

Back on the Ice

Ah another day of hockey! Today we headed back down to the hockey rink and watched a nail biter of a game. The Americans came out on top yet again against a canadian team. Here is a quick snap of one of the die hard american fans, our own Connor Eccleston.

All American Hockey

All American Hockey

I LOVE HOCKEY!!! Today I found out that I love hockey, yep pretty much my new fav. So we made it to Kenniwick late friday night and pretty much headed straight to bed. We all got
a good nights rest and we're up bright and early today (no thanks to the dogs). Brad and vic drove us around and gave us the tour of this booming metropolis they call home (huge!!!).
Its odd I never thought I would like washington as much as I do, this place is really starting to grow on me. So all day we were hanging out taking in the sights, kicking back enjoying our
time away from home. But as soon as dusk set in, it was time for some action. Now I had never been to a Hockey game before in my life and I wasnt quite sure what to expect.... I was blown away there is more contact in the first period
of this game then there is in a whole four quarters of a foot ball. I dont think I have seen as may punchs thrown in a boxing match as I did out on the ice. Its clear that there is no love loss between teams. With hockey, sportsman ship goes right out the window and I love it. The home Tri-City Americans used their skates, sticks, and fists to move the puck and become victorious over the Spokane cheifs on the day that all Americans need a victory. Congratulations to the Americans for winning the tribute game to our coutry on 9/11 with a 2 to 1 victory.

Roadtrip

Vacation time, Kat and I packed the car loaded the dogs and set our compass for Kennewick, Washington Where her dad lives. 8 hours plus 2 adults, 2 dogs and a butt load of stuff... equals a very long drive. This is a quick snap of Loki and I after he finaly calmed down after about 4 hours, the ride got a little easier after he decided to chill out. But at any rate we all made it in one peice and now im ready to kick back and enjoy our vacation...Added September 12 · Comment ·LikeUnlike

In search of the picture of the day. While I was wasting gas driving around looking for something to take a picture of I came across this little stream. I was walking up to snap a few shots when I heard splash splash splash. I was a little startled so I walked up nice and slow and noticed that there was several turtles jumping in to the water when they heard me coming. I ran back to my truck to grab my longer lens to shot the turtles, but...... they had all jumped in :( So I had to settle for this picture, which I love by the way.
